Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms cover how we take on work, what we promise, and what we ask of you in return. Using this site means you accept them.
01Who we are
Argos is a 3D printing and additive manufacturing service, operated as part of Quadcycle. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that is who they mean.
02Quotes and pricing
Prices from our instant quote engine are calculated from the geometry you upload and the options you select. They are valid for thirty days.
The volume we measure comes from your mesh. If a file turns out to be malformed, non-manifold or otherwise not what it appeared to be, we may need to revise the price — and if we do, we will tell you before printing anything, and you can cancel at no cost.
All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST and shipping unless stated otherwise.
03Your files and your rights to them
By uploading a model you confirm that you own it or have the right to have it manufactured. You keep all rights in your designs — we acquire nothing beyond what is needed to print your order.
We will decline any job we believe infringes someone's intellectual property, and we do not print functional weapons or their components, items designed to cause harm, or anything unlawful under Indian law.
04Production and tolerances
3D printing is a physical process with real limits. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, expect approximately ±0.2 mm or ±0.2% (whichever is larger) on FDM parts, and ±0.1 mm on resin.
Visible layer lines, support witness marks and minor colour variation between batches are normal characteristics of the process rather than defects. Where a specific surface finish matters, choose a post-processing option or tell us before we start.
05Lead times
Lead times shown are estimates in working days, measured from the point payment clears and the design is confirmed. We hit them the overwhelming majority of the time, but machine failures and material shortages happen; if your order will be late, we will tell you as soon as we know rather than letting the date pass quietly.
06Payment
Online payment is not yet enabled. Orders are placed on the site and we follow up with a secure payment link within one business day. Production begins once payment has cleared.
Prices are payable in full before dispatch unless we have agreed credit terms in writing.
07Cancellation, returns and reprints
You can cancel free of charge at any point before printing starts. Once a job is on a machine it cannot be cancelled, because the material and time are already committed.
If a part is defective, damaged in transit, or does not match the file you supplied, we will reprint it at our cost. Tell us within seven days of delivery and include a photograph.
Custom parts printed correctly to your file are not returnable for a change of mind — we cannot resell them to anyone else.
08Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Parts we print are supplied as manufactured goods. Deciding whether a part is fit for your particular application — especially anything load-bearing, medical, automotive or safety-critical — is your responsibility, and we strongly recommend testing before deployment.
09Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account. Each account may store up to three models by default; we can raise that on request. We may suspend accounts used to submit unlawful or infringing work.
10Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be flagged to account holders by email.
