On this page
A figure with a thin sword, a scythe or outstretched fingers has to survive a courier network that throws parcels onto conveyor belts. How it is packed matters as much as how it is printed.
How a figure is packed
- 1.Its own box. Every figure goes in a box sized for it, not a padded envelope.
- 2.Inserts around the fragile parts. Swords, scythes, staffs and capes get extra bracing so they cannot take a knock directly.
- 3.An outer mailer with filler, so the inner box cannot rattle.
- 4.Several pieces share one outer box, each in its own inner box.
How shipping is priced
Couriers charge by the greater of real weight and volumetric weight, which is worked out from the box size. A boxed figure is light but bulky, so it is priced on its packed size:
- First piece: about 350 g billable
- Each extra piece: about 200 g, because it shares the outer box
- Rounded up to the courier's 0.5 kg steps
Then the price depends on distance from Delhi NCR:
| Region | 1 piece | 2–3 pieces | Delivery time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delhi NCR | ₹50 (free over ₹1,500) | ₹80 | 1–3 working days |
| North India | ₹70 | ₹110 | 2–5 working days |
| Metro cities | ₹80 | ₹120 | 2–4 working days |
| Rest of India | ₹90 | ₹140 | 4–7 working days |
| North-East, J&K, islands | ₹130 | ₹200 | 6–10 working days |

Frequently asked questions
How much does shipping cost for a 3D printed figure?
From ₹50 in Delhi NCR to ₹130 for the North-East, J&K and the islands for one piece. Extra pieces share a parcel and add less. Delivery in Delhi NCR is free over ₹1,500.
Why is shipping priced by box size and not weight?
Couriers charge by volumetric weight for light, bulky parcels. A boxed figure weighs little but takes up space, so the box size decides the price.
What happens if my figure arrives broken?
Send photos of the piece and packaging within seven days of delivery and we reprint and reship it at our cost.
