3D printed gifts in India — 12 ideas that do not look like a last-minute purchase
A practical guide to 3D printed gifts in India, for birthdays, Diwali, Secret Santa and desk-bound friends, with honest notes on price, delivery time and what makes a printed gift feel special.

On this page
Most gifts fall into two groups. Some are useful but forgettable, like a mug or a gift card. Others are memorable but useless, like a novelty item that ends up in a drawer. A good 3D printed gift can be both memorable and something the person keeps out on a desk or shelf for years.
This guide covers what to buy, who it suits, and how to make sure it arrives on time, which matters more than anything else when you're shopping for an Indian festival season.
Why 3D printed gifts work
Three reasons:
- 1.They are specific. A figure that matches someone's sense of humour or favourite genre says "I thought about you". Mass-market gifts cannot.
- 2.They are printed to order. Nobody else in the office got the same one from the same shop's shelf.
- 3.They sit in the sweet spot on price. Most of our pieces cost ₹600–₹850. That's more thoughtful than a chocolate box but won't blow a Secret Santa limit.
For the friend with a bookshelf
A ledge sitter. It is the safest choice on this list. It suits any shelf, does not need to match the decor, and is the first thing guests notice. If you have never seen one, read what a ledge sitter is.
- Moody and cinematic: Brooding Knight Ledge Sitter
- Funny: Ledge Skull
- Calm and bookish: Seated Wizard
For the colleague who lives at their desk
Something that earns its space. Desk gifts work best when they do a job or are small enough not to get in the way.
- A pen holder with character, like the Dark Lord Pen Holder
- A figure that sits on the monitor, like the Office Skeleton (for anyone who has ever said "I'm dead" about a deadline)
- A mini that fits next to the keyboard, from the Minis collection

For gamers
The Gamer Skull Ledge Sitter, a hooded skeleton with a controller, is the obvious one. It looks right next to a console or on a shelf above a gaming setup. More ideas in our gifts for gamers guide.
For someone who has everything
A seated character figure with a finish. Pieces like Sad Jester Ledge Sitter look like small sculptures, not toys. They suit a living room or a study as much as a desk.
For Secret Santa
Minis. They are the cheapest pieces we make, they fit in a small box, and they're very hard to dislike. The Mini Dark Knight and Mini Dark Lord are both small enough for a desk and recognisable at a glance.
Getting the timing right
This is where most gift plans go wrong. Here is the honest timeline:
| Step | Time |
|---|---|
| Printing and hand finishing | 2–4 days |
| Delivery within Delhi NCR | 1–3 working days |
| Delivery to Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai | 2–4 working days |
| Delivery to the rest of India | 5–9 working days |
So for a Delhi NCR address, order about a week ahead. For anywhere else, order 10–14 days ahead. Around Diwali, courier times across India stretch, so add a few days more. The full breakdown is on our shipping page.
For festival deadlines, see our Diwali gift guide; for a whole team, the corporate gifting guide.
Delivery within Delhi NCR is free on orders over ₹1,500, so two small gifts together often cost less to send than one.
Wrapping and presentation
Every piece ships boxed with protective inserts, so it arrives ready to wrap. If you want it sent straight to the person, just give their address when you send your basket. We confirm everything by email before anything is printed.
Frequently asked questions
How much do 3D printed gifts cost in India?
Our figures and desk pieces are mostly ₹600–₹850 each. Larger or heavily finished pieces cost more. Shipping is free within Delhi NCR on orders over ₹1,500.
Can I get a gift delivered in time for a birthday next week?
Within Delhi NCR, usually yes. Printing takes 2–4 days and delivery 1–3 working days. For other cities, allow 10–14 days in total to be safe.
Can you print a custom gift, like a name or a specific character?
Sometimes. Tell us what you have in mind through the contact page and we'll let you know honestly whether we can make it well, and what it would cost.
Are 3D printed figures fragile?
They're sturdier than they look. The weak points are thin parts like swords, staffs and fingers. We ship everything with inserts, and if something arrives damaged we reprint it at no cost.
